The Connecticut Blazers Lacrosse Club rolled into Devens, MA last weekend for the 2025 Legacy Invitational—a premier event packed with top-tier competition.
With programs like Eclipse, Laxachusetts, Twisters, Stallions, 4 Leaf, and more in attendance, this was the perfect stage to see how we stack up—and our Blazers showed they’re ready to run with the best.
Our teams represented CT with pride and determination—demonstrating the hard work and growth happening every day. Here’s a quick look at how our teams performed:
2033s:
They finished with a strong 3-2 record and made it to the semifinals, narrowly missing the finals in a hard-fought 1-3 game against the Coyotes. Coach Paul Raccio shared, “Our 2033s brought energy and toughness all weekend. This team is growing fast, learning what it takes to win on big stages like this.” We are so proud of their resilience and progress!
2029s:
They finished with a 1-4 record, with three losses by only one goal and one game by two goals. Despite the results, they played with heart and never quit—fighting in every game. Coach AJ Alessi praised their effort, saying, “We were right there in every game. The effort, compete level, and progress are all heading in the right direction.” Their determination truly shines.
From start to finish, our Blazers showed great spirit, hard work, and a strong sense of community. This weekend was a significant step forward for our program, and we’re excited about the growth and potential ahead.
